Private adverts are generally published for a period of 30 - 60 days. Adverts can be removed or changed at any time. Your advert can carry your own e-mail address, home telephone or mobile telephone number for buyers to reply to.

All private text adverts are free but must be relevant to the local area. Adverts for goods for sale outside the local area will not be published. To help keep private adverts free please support the local businesses and services that are advertised in the margins and on the Business Directory.

Full Picture Adverts.
Some items may sell quicker with a picture advert. To place a picture advert simply fill in the form above with the details and click the 'Full Picture Advert' box. We will contact you with payment details (PayPal) and the e-mail address to send your own digital picture for inclusion with your advert.
There is a cover charge of £10.00 for publication of pictures with adverts.

Handling Replies.
Sadly there are scammers out there that abuse adverts and despite warning notices, published on the Tayads pages, e-mails are still being sent to advertisers offering to pay by bankers draft and arrange their own shipping. These e-mails should be deleted. The whole point of the web site is to enable people to find goods locally and thus eliminating the need for postage and packing. That said, we have had feedback from people who have sold second hand goods outside the local area. Simply make sure that you get payment for the goods before you send anything.
